Adido Finalist for BCS IT Awards 2008

We are delighted to announce that Adido’s web based volunteering management system thehub has just been announced as a finalist in the British Computer Society Awards.

thehub has already received tremendous achievements and praises before being shortlisted in the category Project Excellence, Web-based Technology Project Award 2008. The system has been deployed at many Universities across the country to facilitate volunteering activities for HE and FE institutions.


Established in 1957, the British Computer Society (BCS) is the leading body for those working in IT. The BCS IT Industry Awards represent the BCS’ professionalism in IT initiatives and recognise, promote and acclaim excellence, professionalism, innovation and the outstanding achievements to which individuals and groups contribute.

Director Andy Headington commented "We are extremely proud to have been shortlisted for the project excellence award. To have been shortlisted from over 50 entries is a real achievement for us. As a growing web design company it is important to us that our achievements are recognised and that our clients are also held up as examples of best practise. We are looking forward to the award ceremony and hope to pick up another award to add to our collection."
