The London Development Centre new website
The London Development Centre (LDC) is an organisation that seeks to improve and maintain the health and wellbeing of the people of London through innovation and improvement in services and commissioning. The LDC needed a new website to showcase the projects and work that the organisation delivers. The old website was out dated and did not portray the organisation affectively. Therefore the LDC set a tender bid for a web agency to create them a new website with a bespoke cutting edge design that would allow the LDC to mange the website themselves.
Adido was chosen to design and develop the LDC new website from some of the top web agencies within the UK. The new website was launched in May 2008 and although it is still early days, the website has been very successful and proves that the hard work put in by both parties has resulted in the goals for the project being achieved. The content management system that was implemented to allow the LDC staff to control the website has been received with enthusiasm and has been praised on it ease of use and it flexibility.
The new website has transformed the LDC web presence into a modern and dynamic place. The new interactive website is eye catching, colorful, easy to use and navigate, and has proved a great success with the websites users which have resulted in a significant increase of visitors.
Due to the success of the project, Adido have been asked to develop an Intranet to improve the internal communication within the LDC. The Intranet will centralise documents and forms, allowing staff to work more efficiently which will result in cost and time savings throughout the organisation.
