Wessex Park Homes get interesting results from the search market test conducted in October.
Wessex Park Homes are a manufacturer of residential park homes and log cabins, also known as holiday lodges. They have been established for over 40 years and are one of the top five manufacturers in the UK.
New tests monitoring the brand awareness (BA) and share of voice (SOV) Wessex have within the search market have delivered interesting results last month. The BA test aimed to understand how many people in UK were actively seeking Wessex Park Homes products compared to their largest competitor in the park home market.
The SOV test looked to get a measure of the size of the UK search market across 3 key phrases. This then allowed Adido to work out the % share of the market the Wessex Park Homes website received for these target terms.
Nikki, Adido’s Online Marketing Manager says “The initial results have proved interesting. This type of testing allows us to understand whether the marketing mix works well together to drive response back to the client’s website with the search channel acting as the return path for users. It is only month one and we are already using this information in a very positive way to take the business forward online in 2009/10.”
